Modern luggage materials are mainly divided into 5 kinds: ABS, PC, aluminum alloy, leather and nylon.   Material of luggage   ABS (Acrylonitrilr-butadiene-styenecolymer)   ABS is a thermoplastic polymer material structure with high strength, good toughness and easy processing. It has a wide range of uses and is commonly found in machinery, electrical, textile, automotive and shipbuilding industries. However, the most suitable temperature state is -25℃-60℃, and the surface is also prone to scratches. In short, its toughness, weight, heat resistance and cold resistance are quite different from those of today's popular PC materials. PC (Polycarbonate)   The Chinese name of PC is polycarbonate, which is a kind of tough thermoplastic resin. Compared with ABS material, PC is tougher, stronger, and has better heat and cold resistance and lightweight performance. Germany's Bayer Laboratory, Japan's Mitsubishi, and Formosa Plastics all have a good supply of PC materials.   Aluminum alloy Aluminum alloys have only become popular in the market in recent years. This is also the most controversial material. The price of aluminum alloy is actually similar to that of high-end PC materials, but boxes made of metal materials will look very high-end, with large profits and high premiums.   Leather The cost-effectiveness of leather is not high. It exists entirely for good-looking appearance and style. The hardness, durability and tensile strength are poor, and the output is limited. It is more suitable for making bags, not boxes.   Nylon Nylon is a man-made fiber, which is basically used as a material for various soft boxes on the market. The advantage is that the fabric is thick and tight, wear-resistant and scratch-resistant, has a certain degree of water resistance, and the price is very cheap. The disadvantage is that the pressure resistance is not good, and the waterproofness is not as good as other materials.   The production process of luggage   Mold making One mold corresponds to a different style of luggage, and the process of mold opening is also the most expensive process in the entire production process.   Fiber Fabric Processing Mix and stir the granular materials of different colors and hardness, and transfer the fully mixed granular materials to the press equipment. The press equipment is an isobaric double-steel belt press or a flat press. Sheets to prepare for the next step of luggage box molding.   Box blow molding The board is placed on a blow molding machine to prepare a case body for a suitcase.   Post-processing of the box After the box body is blown at the blow molding machine, it enters the automatic production line, and the manipulator automatically performs the forming and manufacturing of the hole and the cutting of the leftover material.   Bending at the joint The prepared sheet metal parts are bent into the shape we need through the bending machine.   Component pressure riveting installation This step is mainly carried out manually. The workers permanently fix the universal wheel, handle, lock and other components on the box at one time on the riveting machine.   Connect the two box halves together to complete the final installation. For the aluminum alloy luggage, the existing striped sheet metal parts are cut into the design shape, and the sheet metal is bent into the shape of the box. With the shape of the box, the subsequent process is the same as the above-mentioned plastic luggage.
